Who is Alive and Beautiful?
We are an experiential marketing company that specialises in marketing spas and salons to their target market through a unique marketing promotion. We are currently situated in Midrand.
How long have you been in business?
The company originally started business in 2000, and has recently been purchased by a new buyer, and is under new management.
Have you had a lot of success with this model?
We have had tremendous success - some of our customers have credited a large portion of their current client base to this promotion.
What does the promotion entail?
The promotion entails a marketing drive directed at your untapped market - first time clients. Contact us for more in-depth information.
How much will this promotion cost me?
There is an initial contract fee to secure our services, but you will recoup this over the course of the promotion in the form of new business.
How long will the promotion last?
This will depend on a few factors - including whether or not you will be able to handle the influx of clients. In the past, we had some salons request that we stop the promotion for a while, as they were swamped with business, and couldn’t accommodate anyone else.
How do the clients book with me?
The initial booking will be done through Alive and Beautiful - thereafter the client will contact you directly.
Can people buy into this promotion as a gift for a loved one?
Yes, they can - however, we will ascertain whether or not the recipient is within the target market of your salon. Many men will purchase for their wives - and we will consult with them to ensure that they don’t go wrong.
How do corporate incentives work within this model?
The corporate will be your client in this case - not the individuals that are sent to you. In their own right, they may become long term clients - but the corporate will be able to send any staff member.
I don’t know who my target market is - Can I still do this promotion?
Yes, definitely! We will meet with you and discuss the criteria of the people who visit your salon/spa. They will be individuals who live and/or work in the area surrounding your salon, generally within a higher LSM bracket, and we can discuss age, race, etc when we meet.
I have a very small salon/spa - Can I still do this promotion?
We are looking for top class salons/spas that will be able to accommodate 500 - 1000 new clients over the period of the promotion. Should you not be able to cater to this number, then we will need to sign up another salon in your area to handle the number of clients - this is the only case where you will not be the only salon in an area.
Will I be the only salon/spa that you represent in my area?
Yes, if you are able to accommodate the client influx, as mentioned above.
